A multitude of entertainment abounds in Vietnam.  Ranging from sightseeing, festivals, music, dance and the night life,   the country is bursting with the colours and traditions of Vietnamese culture.

Festivals make a major part of Vietnamese entertainment such as Tet Nguyen Dan (New Year's Eve), Do Son Buffalo Fight Festival and Tet Trung Thu (Mid-Autumn Festival), among many others. Celebrations of fun and music form an integral part in Vietnamese festivals.

Nightlife in Vietnam thrives in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. These are popular places for entertainment in Vietnam for karaoke music and dance music. With the popularity of nightclubs on a high, the number of nightclubs is also increasing in Vietnam.

Various forms of Vietnamese dance are performed in theatres and operas, at festivals and royal dances of the imperial court.   Being an integral part of Vietnamese culture, dance is a form of expression of the customs and beliefs, of dreams and aspirations.
