Taiwan Entertainment

Taiwan culture mainly derives from the southern part of China, which was imported from the immigrants from Fujian, Hakka during the early formative years of Taiwan. The immigrants from mainland China, brought along with them acrobatics and opera which still attract many visitors to enjoy the art in Taiwan.

Apart from these arts, the rich ethnic culture of the aboriginal people of Taiwan has also play a big part of defining the culture of Taiwan. In particular, the rhythmical songs and dances of the Ami, an aboriginal tribe from the eastern part of Taiwan, have gained popularity and have found their way into the compositions of well known artists in Europe and America, and are played at international events.

Taiwan, who was under the Japanese rule for a period of time, has an affinity for Japanese culture, which has been welcomed and supported especially by the youth. The world's newest music and trends can be found in Taiwan are imported from Japan.

Taiwan is a universe of entertainment, one which offers a variety of traditional and aboriginal music and also at the front of cutting edge entertainment.
